Lous and The Yakuza a promising talent

18/08/2022

She was already making a splash in 2021 by being listed in Forbes magazine as one of the most promising talents on the European scene. This year, she is invading stadiums, opening for Coldplay, Alicia Keys and Gorillaz.

Her first album, Gore, released in 2020, was a big hit not just with the Belgian public, but also with French and Italian audiences. Her style, which combines a bit of rap, a bit of soul and a bit of classic literature, is proving very popular. She deals with personal issues that affect the young (and not so young). With almost 40 million views on YouTube, she went from dream to reality by opening for Coldplay, first at the Stade de France and recently at the King Baudouin stadium in Brussels, where she literally wowed over 200,000 spectators during the four nights. This was a wonderful opportunity for her to reach a very, very large audience.

At the Sportpaleis in Antwerp in mid-June, she was the opening act for Alicia Keys, whom she accompanied on her European and American tour.

She was also in Werchter in July and will be on tour in the United States in August. Her concerts are almost sold out in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Not to mention that between concerts she is preparing a long-awaited second album, due to be released at the end of the year. This young artist, aged just 26, has a very busy schedule.

No doubt we will hear more about our talented rapper and songwriter who has also featured on the catwalk for Louis Vuitton and Chloé.
