Brussels delivers the good during Belgian Music Week

25/01/2024

Right up until Sunday 28 January, the entire country will be celebrating its love of Belgian music. The perfect opportunity for the Dutch-language Brussels-based regional television station BRUZZ to shine a spotlight on the Brussels music scene.

It is now the fourth time that the support centre for artists and the music industry (VI.BE) and Flemish public broadcasting company (VRT) have organised Belgian Music Week. An unmissable party week in which just about every genre gets a little more airplay. We'll be tuning in to hear Angèle, Lou Deprijck, Mathias Vergels, Zwangere Guy, Raymond van het Groenewoud, Toots Thielemans, Lous and the Yakuzza, Stromae, Blanche ... just to name a few.

But it's not only about listening. If you get a knock-out score on the music quiz - which runs until 28 January - you might get an email announcing that you've won free concert tickets to see Belgian artists at the Ancienne Belgique (AB). Or get to know young Belgian music talent with a connection to our capital, during live sessions every morning and evening on radio, TV and BRUZZ's YouTube channel: Aili, ELES, Zonmai, Gemini Blu ... But record label bosses, music video directors, graphic designers, concert hall programmers, event organisers ... will also be telling their stories.

So you're guaranteed to get your fill of music during Belgian Music Week.
