Angèle, in love with Brussels

27/10/2021

Asterix will soon appear on the big screen in the intrepid Gaul's 5th film. And there's a pleasant surprise, as talented Brussels singer Angèle will play the part of Panacea. At the same time, the singer reveals her infatuation with her native city in "Bruxelles, je t'aime", her new single and video, announcing the release of her new album at the end of the year.

The fifth film featuring the famous Gauls, "The Middle Kingdom", directed by and starring Guillaume Canet, will be released in 2022. In this new feature film, we discover Chinese princess Fu Yi, who has come to ask for help from the village of indomitable Gauls following a coup d'état. Its release will be a pleasant surprise for fans of our compatriot Angèle, who will succeed Laetitia Casta in the role of the beautiful Panacea.

Another wonderful discovery is Angèle's song "Bruxelles je t'aime, tu vas me manquer" (Brussels I love you, I'll miss you). The video plunges us into the singer's imagination as she wanders, dances and celebrates during a surreal train journey between Paris and Brussels. This lively song, in French and Flemish, set against the background of a message of political appeaement between the north and the south, describes all the love she has for her city. The new single is the prelude to an upcoming album, which will follow the highly acclaimed "Brol", the double diamond certified record which sold 1.5 million copies worldwide and was streamed some two billion times.

Angèle is a committed singer in more ways than one.
