The Belgian voices of Netflix

If you are not a fan of works in VO, you have probably already heard the voices coming out of Khobalt recording studios: the French voices of the robbers in La casa de papel (Money Heist) and the inmates of Orange is the New Black, for example, are Belgian. Khobalt has taken up residence in the northwest of the capital, in Koekelberg. Although the buildings are discreet, they house a global benchmark in dubbing, on both the small and the big screens. The company is the only one in Belgium that can boast of having the trust of Netflix, its main client. While this close relationship has allowed Khobalt to take on the dubbing of big hits for the streaming giant, TF1, BBC, Amazon, HBO and National Geographic are some of the other big names that also trust Khobalt's expertise, as the company's reputation extends well beyond our borders, even globally.

Will you hear a Belgian accent on TF1 or HBO? Not really! With the exception of a few Flemish cartoons, the company only works in "Parisian French", meaning the unaccented version of the French language. This is no problem for our actors who, in addition to being very good, have not had an accent for a long time!
