For his birthday, Mickey is taking to the streets of Brussels
This autumn, Mickey is celebrating his 90th anniversary with a Street Art trail around Brussels.
Indeed, our favourite little mouse will be all over the streets of Brussels as part of an open-air exhibition. This will be organised throughout the city in October and November. A Street Art trail will cover the Dansaert district, among others, as well as the Brussels underground. Thanks to a partnership with STIB, Mickey will also be present in the metro stations.
It will be a wonderful tribute to this emblematic Disney icon. The project is mainly the result of a collaboration between renowned artists such as Oakoak, Joachim, Idem and Jean Forest. All of which are participating under the artistic direction of the famous expert Bjørn Van Poucke, who offers us an astonishing trail. Furthermore, STIB has also distributed a special map for those wishing to follow the trail.
However, it doesn't end there! Mickey will be honoured in a variety of ways:
- museums,
- pop-up stores,
- collections by leading brands.
