The Belgian women's kayak team won a bronze medal at the Wildwater Canoeing World Championships, as did the men's team and Leo Montulet in the individual event.

It's a remarkable achievement by the Belgian kayakers at the Wildwater Canoeing World Championships in Sabero, Spain. The team, composed of Lauranne Sinnesael, Clémence Hulpiau, and Marguerite de Hasque (the European junior champion), secured an impressive bronze medal in the team race. This is the first women's team medal at the World Championships in over 50 years.

The unique aspect of this race is the requirement to complete the course as quickly as possible with three different kayaks, which must not be separated by more than 10 seconds at the finish line.

On the men's side, the team consisting of Leo Montulet, Lean Boagert, and Kilian Meersmans also won a well-earned bronze medal.

In the individual event, Leo Montulet clocked the third-best time to claim another bronze medal.

Three world medals for Belgium—a great achievement!
