These Red Devils will conquer the world cup this summer
As the FIFA world cup is fast approaching, Belgian national team manager Rudy Garcia has announced his selection.
The Belgian Red Devils are ready to take over North America with a strong selection of 26 gladiators, with remnants of the golden generation mixed with fresh and hungry blood.
Starting with the goalkeepers, Thibaut Courtois will defend the nets, backed up by Senne Lammens and Mike Penders.
Belgium’s defensive line continues with Zeno Debast, Timothy Castagne, Maxim De Cuyper, Koni De Winter, Brandon Mechele, Thomas Meunier, Nathan Ngoy, Joaquin Seys and Arthur Theate.
Our strong midfield will be represented by Kevin De Bruyne, Amadou Onana, Nicolas Raskin, Youri Tielemans and Hans Vanaken, all men who have proved themselves indispensable time and again for their respective teams.
Finally, Garcia has chosen for a fearsome offensive selection made up of Charles De Ketelaere, Jérémy Doku, Matías Fernández-Pardo, Dodi Lukebakio, Diego Moreira, Alexis Saelemaekers, Leandro Trossard and the unmissable stronghold that is Romelu Lukaku.
Their adventure starts on 15 June on the West Coast of the United States as they take on Egypt in Seattle, followed by a face-off with Iran in Los Angeles on 21 June. Finally, they will meet New Zealand in Vancouver, Canada on the 27th.
