Belgian figure skater Nina Pinzarrone finished in second place at the Golden Spin of Zagreb with her best performance this season.

The 18-year-old rising star wowed friend and foe in the final leg of the Challenger Series and scored 193.49 points in the free skating segment. In addition, the scored 65.20 points in the short programme, which earned the Belgian a third place in that category.
To call it a noteworthy performance by Loena Hendrickx’s biggest rival on the home front would be an understatement. These podium finishes underline the fact that Belgium has several figure skaters that are capable of performing at the highest level of the sport.
