18/10/2019

At the age of 26, the young player from Ypres has won the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the WNBA final. This means that she was the highest performing player in the women's final in the greatest basketball championship in the world.

Competing with her Washington Mystics teammates, the young Belgian player propelled her team to the top of the championship with 22 points in 27 minutes during the final against the Connecticut Sun team. According to the rest of the team, it was Emma "who made the different in this series," and therefore deserved the title of MVP. But the Belgian player insists that "without the team, I would be nothing!"

And speaking of teams, the player who came top of the EuroLeague three times with Russian team Ekaterinburg wants a rest before moving forwards with her goals. She will start the season with her Russian team and then throw herself into playing for the Belgian Cats, as she wants them to qualify for Euro 2021 and of course, the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This young basketball player wants "to win everything she does" and she is certainly on the right track!
