Being an external service of the Prime Minister's Chancellery, The IPC is housed in the Residence Palace, a complex of art deco buildings (155, Rue de la Loi, Block C, 1040 Brussels - Residence Palace), a stone’s throw from the Schuman Roundabout, at the heart of the European quarter. Everything needed by journalists to work and to deliver their copy on time, is permanently available in the press centre.
The International Press Centre is a dynamic communication centre that does more than just provide facilities and services. It works in close collaboration with journalists' associations and has joined forces with the International Press Association (IPA-API) to set up a number of activities for the Belgian and international press:

The mediaroom
For journalists who do not have an office at the International Press Centre, there is a dedicated newsroom in which they can work. The Media Room can accommodate up to 20 journalists. It is equipped with desktop computers as well as workstations with all the necessary connections for laptops.
Journalists have access to a printer and photocopier as well as free high-speed internet.
TV facilities
The multimedia company Videohouse is the exclusive audiovisual partner of the Résidence Palace. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to meet the needs of journalists and clients.
The Résidence Palace has a fibre-optic cable link to all European institutions and the VRT.
With the recent installation of a new high-tech conference system, the services provided at the Résidence Palace have moved to the next level.
