Every year, EY, one of the world's largest financial audit and consultancy firms, in association with De Tijd and BNP Paribas, organises the "Company of the Year" election. The 2020 Flemish version of this was won by storage specialist Stow.
It succeeds Kinepolis, beating packaging producer Abriso-Jiffy, beverage producer Konings and sanitaryware supplier Van Marcke.
Stow is one of the leading manufacturers of static storage and shelving systems. Its core activity is the development and manufacture of top-quality shelving systems for the storage of pallets, small parts and long loads as well as the planning and implementation of mezzanine structures.
At the beginning of this year, the company merged all of its activities under the single brand, Stow. Particularly in Europe and other countries, the Stow Group worked through multiple operating companies that had previously had their own brand name and structure (Feralco, Duwic, Storax and Stow). In terms of production, the Stow Group now has nine factories, in which major investments are planned for future growth.
This award is recognition of Stow's innovative approach, international vision, strategy, sound financial situation, committed teamwork and good governance.
