Visual Solutions, a Belgian SME based in Hoeilaart, Flemish Brabant, is in charge of the visual spectacle for the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, whose 65th event will take place in Rotterdam.
Jo Pauly, who has been running the specialist audiovisual company since 2005, will be at the helm in the Ahoy Concert Hall, with the support of three world-class freelancers, for his biggest ever production in terms of audience size. This is a high-precision job because each country and each song have their own visuals and want them to be perfectly timed and precise down to the smallest detail.
It is no coincidence that Visual Solutions was chosen by the Eurovision organisers; the company is no stranger to the world of audiovisual entertainment, having carried out major projects around the world for many years. It has been invited to award ceremonies and big events in Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Its projects include the projection of images on a cultural building belonging to the Saudi oil company Aramco. It has also participated in fashion shows in Milan and New York and is often asked to work on world premieres of new Mercedes-Benz models, from Shanghai to Cape Town.
With Hooverphonic and Visual Solutions, Belgium will be well represented at Eurovision.
