Twenty-two new Bib Gourmand restaurants in Michelin Guide

27/02/2023

There is still a little bit of a wait for the 2023 Belgium and Luxembourg Michelin Guide, which will be released on Monday 13 March. In the meantime, you can already choose from 22 restaurants that will be awarded the Bib Gourmand label this year for their exceptional price-quality ratio.

Michelin stars represent the very best in terms of sheer culinary excellence, which covers the quality of the produce served, the personality of the cuisine, the mastery of cooking techniques and flavours, the price-quality ratio, as well as cuisine consistency over time. Criteria such as comfort, service and atmosphere are not considered when a restaurant is awarded one or more stars; that is what the icons in the form of cutlery or houses stand for. That for the record. Who gets or loses a star in 2023, gets an extra one or loses one, will be announced on 13 March during the presentation of the new Michelin Guide at the Royal Theatre of Mons.

Fortunately, we can already enjoy a delicious starter, main and dessert for around 45 euros, which represents excellent value for money. Inventively prepared by a professional chef with the right mindset.

Whether you prefer sustainable creativity, for example, Vietnamese fusion, Mediterranean delicacies, or rather traditional dishes accompanied by a good glass of wine or a fresh Geuze, Greek specialties ... you are guaranteed to find something to your liking at one or more of the new - and old - addresses in Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
