New Stars in the Michelin Guide 2026

The Michelin Guide has unveiled all the awards granted to the best restaurants in Belgium.

The renowned gastronomic guide revealed its 2026 selection during a ceremony held in the magnificent Handelbeurs hall in Antwerp.

This edition is marked by the arrival of two new two‑star restaurants and ten establishments awarded their first Michelin Star, a selection that “once again testifies to the dynamism of Belgian gastronomy,” notes Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide.

While no new three‑star restaurants have been added this year, Zilte, led by chef Viki Geunes (Antwerp), and Boury, by chef Tim Boury (Roeselare), both retain their three Michelin Stars.

The two newly awarded two‑star restaurants are Cuines 33 in Knokke, driven by chef Edwin Menue and his partner Fleur Boussy, and The Jane in Antwerp, under the leadership of Nick Bril.

In addition, ten restaurants have earned their first Michelin Star:

  • La Table‑Lasne, by Alain Bianchin, is praised for its ability to “bring together classic cuisine and flavors from around the world.”
  • In Gentbrugge, Moscou, by Danny Horseele, confirms the vitality of an experienced chef who is always “on the lookout for the latest trends.”
  • In De Panne, Subtiel, by Stéphane Buyens, offers “an additional reason to head for the coast,” thanks in particular to signature dishes “such as turbot in crust.”
  • In Sint‑Martens‑Bodegem, Agnes, by Thomas Locus, revisits classic gastronomy “with subtlety.”
  • In Heverlee, Est, led by chef Abel Demeestere and sous‑chef Laurence De Smet, “brings the former Arenberg restaurant back to life” by combining tradition and creativity.
  • In Kontich, Vintage, by Cyril Moulin, focuses on “exceptional products.”
  • The Guide also awards Komaf in Wommelgem, run by chef Anthony Stoop.
  • In Borgerhout, the “playful” experience offered by Bloesem, created by chefs Nebo Schamp and Brend Geudens, also impressed the inspectors.
  • In Leefdaal, Atelier Noun, by Bert Castermans, stood out for a cuisine “where great technical mastery lies behind an apparent simplicity.”
  • Finally, in Luxembourg, Le Lys, located in the Hotel Villa Pétrusse, earns its first Michelin Star thanks to chef Kim de Dood, who combines Luxembourg cuisine with Asian flavors “with uncommon subtlety.”
