LaListe's culinary rankings include 24 Belgian restaurants

As evidenced by websites such as Focus on Belgium, it's no secret that Belgium is one of the world's top culinary countries. The prestigious LaListe ranking obviously agrees.

Small in size, big in gastronomy. That's one way to characterise Belgium. However, the competition is fierce when you consider that 200 countries vie for a coveted spot on this list. Belgium received an impressive 24 mentions in 2025.

As in 2024, restaurant Boury in Roeselare, West Flanders, shines as our absolute star in LaListe, with a score of 97.5. Not surprisingly, this dining paradise run by chef Tim Boury and Inge Waeles is one of two Belgian restaurants awarded three stars in the 2025 Michelin Guide. Zilte in Antwerp also has three stars and received a score of 92. Hof van Cleve in Kruisem sits in between with 93.5, and The Jane, also in Antwerp, completes the exclusive top tier.

What are Boury's greatest strengths? The head chef has mastered the art of transforming luxury products from his terroir into creations that perfectly pair tradition with creativity. He also selects the best accompanying exclusive wines. The resulting whole guarantees stylish yet relaxed culinary enjoyment at just about the highest level imaginable.

And credit where credit is due: Guy Savoy in Paris stands at No. 1 on LaListe for the ninth year in a row. No doubt plans are being hatched here and there to eventually challenge our southern neighbour for the top spot.
