It’s bluebell season again!
Spring is here again, and so are some of Belgium’s most beautiful floral phenomena.

It’s no secret that people flock from all corners to the Hallerbos just outside of Brussels to see the beautiful hyacinths in April. Many a Belgian and many a traveller has been able to marvel at the bed of purple amidst majestic ancient trees.
Of course, Bluebells do not only grow in the Hallerbos. For example, the Kluisbos in East Flanders or the Bois du Grand Bon Dieu near Charleroi have their own bluebells to boast about. In addition, think of all the other beautiful nature in full bloom, like the many cherry trees in Schaerbeek or in the Japanese Garden in Hasselt, or wood anemones in places like the Zevenbergenbos in Ranst near Antwerp.
Whichever flowers or trees you go to marvel at, to whatever part of Belgium you travel, whether it’s in Halle, Antwerp or Charleroi, remember nature is as fragile as it is beautiful, so look but don’t touch!
There is so much nature to discover in Belgium. What are your tips for this spring? We’d love to know.
