Nostalgie, a francophone radio station in Belgium, is boasting with the first Artificial Intelligence (AI) host in Europe.
The show is not hosted solely by the AI voice of course. Mamie L’IA (Grandma the AI, as the voice will be known) is due to play co-host every day from 7 to 8 pm on a show on the popular francophone radio station.
The voice of the elderly AI lady is a combination from various sources: they have mixed the voices of two women of a certain age with sounds from a database. There was some input from the ubiquitous ChatGPT as well.
The radio station referred to technological revolutions and the fact that it had decided to “embrace and integrate these changes” in their shows.
