Yet another award for Pairi Daiza
For the third year running, Pairi Daiza has been awarded the prize for the best zoo in Europe at the Diamond ThemePark Awards.
More than 67,000 votes were registered for this election, which represents the "Oscars" of the entertainment industry, chaired by a jury of European theme park and animal park experts.
The park offers a journey through the animal and plant world of the five continents and also ensures a conservation mission for endangered species. Much to the delight of the visitors, it houses giant pandas, polar bears, and Asian elephants, and encourages the conservation of these endangered species.
Therefore, this award recognises the work of an entire team. Whether keepers, gardeners, architects, engineers, or other professions, all participate in the nature protection and conservation work whilst also raising awareness of their cause among the general public.
