Pairi Daiza is Europe’s best zoo again
The Belgian zoological park Pairi Daiza, has been voted best in Europe for the eighth time.

According to a panel of experts in the zoological sector, “Pairi Daiza continues to grow with the highest level of theming and modern animal welfare,” allowing the zoo to succeed itself as the best in Europe.
It is just the latest in a series of awards the park has received since its creation in 1994, making it no surprise that more than 2 million visitors a year make the trip to Brugelette, in the province of Hainaut.
The zoo outranked famous competitors like Loro Parque in Spain and the Leipzig zoo in Germany.
Have you ever been to Pairi Daiza? What did you think? And how does it compare to Planckendael, that other major zoo in Belgium? We’d love to know your thoughts on the matter!
