Our Devils are popular in unsuspected countries
A recent survey by the search engine Google revealed that people are searching for our Red Devils and its players in unexpected countries.
On a global level, the record for the number of searches carried out on our footballers is held, in order, by Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, Eden Hazard, Timothy Castagne and Yannick Carrasco.
In terms of the countries most interested in our national team, apart from Belgium, first comes Russia, which is not surprising as it was the first country to play the Devils; the next countries in the ranking are rather more disconcerting, as they are the Central African Republic, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan! Then come Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, South Sudan and East Timor.
In terms of the content of the most frequently asked questions, aside from the schedule and opponents, perhaps the most surprising is why the Devils took the knee in St. Petersburg.
Lastly, with regard to the teams most popular with Internet users, the Belgians come in third place, after England and Croatia.
