Do you know the latest Belgian story?

27/01/2022

Natacha, Tintin, the Marsupilami, Spike and Suzy, Billy & Buddy, Cari Fleur, Blake and Mortimer, the Kiekeboes, Lucky Luke, the Smurfs, Spirou & Fantasio, Jeremy, Largo Winch, and Neron. What do all these comic book characters have in common?

Besides the fact that they are all Belgian, they can all be found in a 34-page booklet that will be released in early February. The drawings, taken from famous comics are original drawings, are included as watermarks. You write your own script as you travel, and enhance the drawings with texts that are rather official but constitute precious keys for unlocking the world.

In this new collection, you will recognise scenes from "Explorers on the Moon", "The Black Tower", "Souvenir de famille" and "De Kwakende Quee". Jeremy, the Smurfs and the heroes of Black and Mortimer are featured especially for the occasion. Travel is the main thread of the story, but you will also find symbols of our capital, such as the Atomium and the Manneken-Pis.

If you want to know everything there is to know about these heroes' new adventures, visit the temporary exhibition 'A new out  of the ordinary passport!' in the Clock Room of the Comics Art Museum. A dynamic video and printouts will reveal the secrets hidden in the UV of our new passports. These will be not only ultra-secure travel documents but also true works of art.

If you are Belgian and would like a personalised copy, please contact your municipal administration or the diplomatic post in your jurisdiction.

Be the first to discover this new passport, a precious magic key for your future travels.
