Did you know the number of cyclists in Brussels is constantly growing?

15/06/2023

It’s widely known that Belgium is cycling country, even traffic-laden Brussels, where the number of cyclists in a day reached an all-time high.

The record of 50,000 people in a day pushing their trusty two-wheeler through the slopy streets and well-trodden roads is no surprise, as the number keeps growing by the month.

So far, the most popular places for Brusselians to test their legs this year are the ever-busy Rue de la Loi, the cycling path along the canal and the inner ring road.

The growth may be the most exponential in the capital, but all across the nation people in motion are choosing finely crafted steel and their own power to propel themselves forward into the world.

Have you had a noteworthy fun experience cycling in Belgium? We’d love to know about it!
