Did you know that luxury trains were created by a Belgian?

Georges Nagelmackers (1845-1905), a Belgian civil engineer and manufacturer from Liège founded the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits and the Compagnie Internationale des Grands Hôtels.  He also created Europe's luxury trains, most notably the first Orient Express.
