Emmanuel Prévinaire from Oupeye in the Liege region created the Flying-Cam company, which works in the film industry, especially the development of digital cameras mounted on remote controlled helicopters (very popular for shooting films such as Harry Potter, James Bond, etc.). In 1995, Flying-Cam received an Academy Award for Technical Achievement from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In addition to its film applications, the Flying-Cam system can be used for journalistic, industrial and military purpose.
