The Royal Greenhouses of Laeken reopen to the public
Fans know that the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken open to visitors every spring, including this year. However, we want to warn you that after this edition, the famous Winter Garden will close for several years due to renovation work.

If you love palm trees, azaleas, geraniums, and similar plants, the Palm Greenhouse is the place for you. If you prefer orange trees, camellias, and laurel trees, you can explore the Congo Greenhouse, the Winter Garden, and the Orangery. The Embarcadère once served as a reception room for guests. All of this is part of the short 2 km walk. For an additional kilometre of floral beauty, explore the royal gardens, where you can take in the stunning greenhouse architecture from afar and discover picturesque spots before returning to the greenhouse complex.
However, the grand Winter Garden, the largest of the greenhouses, is deteriorating due to rust and is set to undergo much-needed restoration. The work will span several years. So, if you’re eager to see the Winter Garden before then, you know what you need to do!
You can visit the greenhouses from Friday 18 April through Sunday 11 May. A nocturne will take place on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and also on Monday 21 April and Thursday 1 May.
