PhotoBrussels Festival 2025
From 23 January 23 to 23 February 2025, hundreds of contemporary photography artists will exhibit their work at the initiative of Hangar across some 50 diverse locations in Brussels. This is the 9th edition of the PhotoBrussels Festival.
Delphine Dumont has led arts centre Hangar in Ixelles, which spotlights photography in Brussels, since 2017. A selection of the work of well-known international artists and promising young talent will be presented over more than 1,000 square meters. This takes place in collaboration with art and photography education.
One of the annual exhibitions at Hangar is the PhotoBrussels Festival. Through the lens of both amateur and professional photographers, the multiple identities of our capital city come to life. This year, in the streets of Brussels, 100,000 spectators were able to see for themselves the various perceptions of Brussels as the cosmopolitan, profoundly human capital of Europe, full of life and creativity.
It was simultaneously a call to "come and see for yourself" in 2025. It's also worth knowing that, in addition to the purely photographic, all sorts of peripheral activities provide additional dialogue between artists and audience, with conferences, workshops, book signings, lectures, talks ... you name it. Note the event in your calendar!
