Over a century of architectural gems at Ante festival in Brussels

11 October 2025 - 19 October 2025
Brussels

All throughout Brussels, visitors can feast their eyes on gorgeous architectural feats from the period between 1780 and 1920 at the ANTE festival organised by Explore.Brussels.

It’s been well established that there are absolute beauties of houses and public buildings all throughout Brussels, and the ANTE festival is the perfect occasion to enjoy them. The period covered was one of “more than a century of intense innovation, stylistic transitions and bold experimentation, both aesthetic and technical.”

The exhibition will include such gems as one of the most beautiful buildings on the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) campus, the old train station of Schaerbeek, the newly reopened Pelgrims house, and even the Royal palace and the iconic Palace of Justice.

ANTE was conceived as the counterpart to the Brussels Art Nouveau Art Deco Festival (or BANAD for short) and is expected to draw thousands of visitors between 11 and 19 October. The festival and its guided tours span nine different communes of Brussels.

Be sure to check out the festival's website for more information and to reserve your spot.
