New "By car with Tintin" exhibition

01 June 2020 - 31 August 2020
Louvain-la-Neuve

"By car with Tintin" is the new temporary exhibition that has just opened in the atrium of the Hergé Museum in Louvain-la-Neuve.

The aim of this exhibition is for visitors to discover in miniature format the 18 cars found in the famous comic books by Hergé, who was a huge sports car fan. Cars are thus omnipresent in Tintin's comic books, whether at the heart of the action in car chases, or just passing by. They include models that Hergé had bought or just tested and to which he often added a small graphic detail in order to combine realism and fiction.

The small cars in the display case were designed by 3D specialists based on Hergé's extensive documentation for his drawings. Don't miss the video about the 3D design of the classic cars during your visit. A free downloadable smartphone app has also been created so that visitors can access the audioguide.

If you are interested in the "By car with Tintin" exhibition, please note that it will be open until the end of the summer. It is available in French, Dutch and English and access is included in the price of your museum visit.
