A literary March in Brussels
March means the start of spring, and what could be better than sunbathing with a good novel and a glass of homemade iced tea? Sounds good, doesn’t it? Well, March in Brussels will be dedicated to literature.

Multiple events will be organized in March on the theme of literature. Comics, novels, manga, meetings, entertainment… there will be something for everyone and every taste.
The 2025 Book Fair will take place from 13 to 16 March on the Tour & Taxis site in Brussels. It is the unmissable annual event for the French-speaking literary world, bringing together authors, publishers, readers, illustrators, critics and much more. It’s a chance to meet your favourite author, discover new things or simply stock up on new books.
To raise awareness of the French language from an early age, a campaign is organised every year from 15 to 23 March, entitled La langue française en fête. This year, the focus is on the environment, with the slogan “Dis-moi dix mots pour la planète” (Tell me ten words for the planet). New words, new expressions, quizzes and riddles: you won’t have time to get bored!
And to top it off, the 10th edition of the Passa Porta Festival will be held in Brussels from 28 to 30 March. This edition has been designed around a rather mysterious theme: “GHOSTS”. It is sometimes said that literature is a haunted house in which many memories live… Belgian and international authors will come and tell you their stories and memories, while talented musicians and other artists will entertain you.
So what do you think? Will you be ghosting your friends to fully enjoy this literary month?
