This year Les Ardentes will yet again be held at the Parc Astrid de Coronmeuse in Liege. From 5 to 8 July, you will be able to live it up at the twelfth edition of this festival. The names setting the festival site on fire this time include Wiz Khalifa, Damso and Orelsan.
Les Ardentes is an urban, open-air festival with a mix of hip-hop, pop and rock. The hip-hop bands in particular are almost unequalled. Every year the festival attracts a few big names in this genre. This eclectic Belgian delight is held in the Parc Astrid on the beach along the Meuse river. Like last year, this year's programme includes some great names such as Wiz Khalifa, Damso, Orelsan, Migos, Massive Attack, Damian ‘JR Gong’ Marley and Bigflo & Oli.
The festival always aims to reinvent itself and approach things from a new and ambitious angle. For the last few years visitors have been able to discover contemporary art, dance and music in the Wallifornia Park. A real outdoor chill zone where art meets new media.
Uniting people with a common love of music? That's Les Ardentes! It is not only about music. You will also find various stands and organisations such as Unicef, Oxfam, Plan Belgium and Amnesty. You can treat your taste buds to some goodies from all over the world as well. Following last year's successful edition with no less than 80,000 visitors, Les Ardentes promises to be another fine festival this year!
