An exhibition at Tour & Taxis invites people into the wonderful world of the late M.C. Escher.
Escher’s works are well-known to the public and have been referenced in all kinds of contexts. If his name alone isn’t enough to attract visitors to M.C. Escher – Beyond Infiinity, maybe the following question does: “What do David Bowie, Squid Game and Johann Sebastian Bach have in common?”
The exhibition boasts over 150 original works and interactive elements for a whole world of discovery. It promises “a truly impossible world” à la Escher. The Dutch artist has left his footprint across the world. Now it’s time for the world to come to Brussels for him.
Visitors can admire artwork spanning Escher’s entire career, “from his early Italian landscapes to his metamorphoses, plane divisions and impossible worlds.” The perfect opportunity to discover M.C. Escher’s “enormous diversity”.
