The event formerly known as Brussels Design September has rebranded for its 20th anniversary. Expect a multitude of exhibitions, conferences, lectures, debates and other events, spread across eleven exciting days.
Get used to saying Brussels Design Week. The new name aligns the Brussels design festival with other design weeks around the world. That’s not the only thing that’s changing, however. For the first time, the event has a central location: AME, a hybrid space located at rue de la Grosse-Tour 3 just off Avenue Louise, one of the most prestigious streets in Brussels.
Brussels Design Week is anchored around three central pillars: the 14th edition of the Commerce Design Awards; the Open Doors weekend allowing a look into designer-entrepreneurs’ workshops; and of course exhibitions. The week is kicked off with an exhibition by the Rempart 44 gallery at the Dominican, a hotel located just behind Brussels’ world-renowned Opera building.
Overall, more than 100 different design events are taking place over 11 days in roughly 50+ venues. Check out Brussels Design Week’s website for more information about Belgium’s leading design festival.
