Brussels is shaking, moving, grooving to the beat in an all-new ten-day dance festival taking over the heart of the city.
Four main locations in the city centre are the focal points but there are other events all around the city. Gravitating around Place De Brouckère, Place de la Monnaie, the Stock Exchange and City Hall – four key locations in the capital --, the festival incorporates performances, battles, workshops, DJ sets, concerts, screenings and of course participatory experiences.
From salsa workshops to hip-hop dance performances and rooftop afterparties, not to forget epic dance movies like Boogie Nights, and even incorporating line dancing, there’s really something for everyone to enjoy.
It’s well in line with a diverse and multicultural city like Brussels to have such an extensive array of different styles on offer. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it? We’re certainly getting on our dancing shoes. Check out the festival’s website for more information.
