35 years of Brussels art collective CNN199
Anniversaries are made to be celebrated, so the Brussels hiphop and graffiti collective CNN199 have organised an exhibition to mark their 35th year of existence.

The collective is taking over the Vanderborght building, located very close to the heart of Brussels, which is fitting for a group that has had such a major influence on the Belgian urban scene.
To mark the occasion, they present an exhibition of visual arts and music with murals, installations and new artwork, supplemented by workshops, performances and lectures.
CNN199 saw the light of day in 1990 and started off with graffiti pieces on trains and in the city and then morphed into the music scene, notably contributing to the soundtrack of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah’s film Black.
Don’t miss out on this fine display of urban culture in such a central part of the multicultural gem that is our capital.
