KMSKA continues to set visitor records
The KMSKA, a museum in Antwerp, has seen a record number of visitors for the third year in a row and enjoyed the most visited exhibition of a contemporary artist of all time in Belgium.

The KMSKA has been a success story ever since its reopening in the fall of 2022, with one exciting exhibition after another, leading to a fanbase that grows with every year. The honour of the most spectacular attendance numbers falls on Hans Op de Beeck, whose exhibition Nachtreis drew over 250,000 visitors.
The museum’s managing director said that “visitors come for major exhibitions, but they keep coming back for the collection, the Thursday evening nocturnes and our public outreach activities throughout the year.” Their success stories of 2025, which also included a James Ensor exhibition, meant that nearly 570,000 art enthusiasts paid a visit to this veritable institution.
May the museum continue to excel!
