Bad Boys 3 will have a Belgian touch

Good news for "Bad Boys" fans! Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will soon be returning to our screens. Filming of the third episode in the franchise will begin shortly with the Belgian directors Bilal Fallah and Adil El Arbi behind the camera.

These talented directors were spotted by Hollywood thanks to the film "Black", released in 2015. The film, which met with great critical acclaim, portrayed the world of Brussels' urban gangs. For this new project, the pair will travel to the United States to create the third film in the "Bad Boys" franchise which recounts the colourful adventures of two Miami policemen. In order to immerse themselves in the world of "Bad Boys 3", the two associates recently travelled to Atlanta to meet their two stars, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, for the first time.

The pressure is on for Bilal Fallah and Adil El Arbi, who will have to adapt to big Hollywood productions and not disappoint fans of the first and second films in the trilogy. Indeed, the films released in 1995 and 2003 have experienced immense success. Filming will officially start on 14 January 2019 and the film is scheduled for release in early 2020.
