Angèle releases her ‘brol’

11/10/2018

'Brol' is simply a colloquial Belgian word to describe a set of disparate objects or disorder, it is also the title of the first album by the singer Angèle. The artist is a Belgian singer-songwriter and musician born on 3 December 1995 to a singer father, Marka (real name Serge Van Laeken) and an actor and comedian mother, Laurence Bibot. She is also the sister of the rapper Roméo Elvis.

‘With just one song, the young Angèle is already tipped to be the phenomenon of 2018’ according to France Inter. She is a modern woman who shares her daily life with a self-depreciating humour, demonstrating quite a personality. There is a vague feeling of the phenomenal instinct of a singer who can also pay tribute to her Belgitude by covering the wonderful Bruxelles by Dick Annegarn.

Brol features songs that are already known such as: La Thune, Je Veux tes Yeux,… but also new titles. To sample the talent of this young singer, go to YouTube.
