Walloon company lands major European defence deal
AnyShape, a Belgian company specialised in additive manufacturing, has been selected to play an important role in the Eurodrone programme.

Airbus Defence and Space has the lead over the industrial consortium involved in developing Eurodrone, an unmanned aerial system for the European skies – or, put another way: drones to protect Europe. Additive manufacturing – creating three-dimensional objects layer by layer – is a key part in the development of these drones.
AnyShape is joining Materialise (also a Belgian additive manufacturing company) in this major undertaking. They will be doing more than just making a prototype: AnyShape and Materialise are in it for the long run, for the duration of the project.
It’s telling that this European consortium looks to Belgium for its expertise in this matter, proving our country’s reliability in the AM industry.
Congratulations to these two Belgian companies, and may they contribute to the success of keeping Belgian and European skies safe and protected.
