Sometimes a start-up can spring to higher ground and become a key player in its industry. Such is the case with Filame.

Filame, a Belgian enterprise, is quickly occupying the top of its sector, with every kind and size of spring and every shape you could possibly imagine. Their products have uses in a multitube of sectors.
The Nivelles-based company makes every type of spring, with major clients from Belgian weapons producer FN to the Brussels public transport service...and sure, those springs stay in Belgium, but three quarters of Filame’s clients are located abroad, earning the former start-up the Silver Export Award. They mention that many of their clients are in Europe but that they serve companies around the globe.
We already mentioned defence and public transport, but Filame’s springs are used in everything from aerospace to electronics over agriculture to the hospitality industry. They don’t only make springs, but also sheet metal parts and press works.
Filame’s clients have high standards, and the Belgian business makes sure to deliver thanks to state-of-the-art technology, including a device that measures each spring and separates the ones that demonstrate any deviation from the norm, though managing director Jean Gabriel asserts that those don’t exist.
A perfect track record for a promising Belgian company. May they keep springing to new heights.
