A new Portuguese partner for De Halve Maan

05/11/2018

Bruges brewery De Halve Maan, which markets Straffe Hendrik and Brugse Zot, has just signed an agreement with Portuguese company DCN Beers to market its beers in Portugal.

The famous brewery concluded an agreement with its Portuguese counterpart due to the growing demand for beer in Portugal. The most in-demand beers include Straffe Hendrik Triple and Quadruple, which are considered high-end products by the Portuguese. These two projects will therefore be distributed as a priority. However, Brugse Zot will also be exported and will enter the Portuguese market in the second phase.

This economic agreement was signed during our sovereigns' latest State visit to Portugal; two launch events were held during the visit, one in Lisbon and the other in Porto, to celebrate a partnership that promises to benefit both parties.
