A Belgian smart platform in Rio

28/01/2020

Nalantis has set up a job-offers platform in Rio, whose goal is to use its expertise in the area of artificial intelligence to match job-seekers to vacant positions.

Nalantis was able to enter into this partnership with the Brazilian State following an initiative by the city's mayor, Marcelo Crivella. The Antwerp software design company will use its chosen field of language technology to introduce this platform.

The principle is simple: the platform is designed to understand and analyse ordinary language, based on an intuitive process that follows the company's leitmotif of "making data understand people". Job-seekers can upload their CV and leave a written or voice message. Based on the registered information, the software understands which profiles it matches and the type of jobs being sought. This new approach should achieve results quickly, as it is modern, easy to use and adapted to the younger generations.

This technology may be new to Rio, but it is definitely not new to Nalantis, as the Belgian company already has significant experience in this area. It has already worked on this type of HR project on several occasions for governments and for organisations in Belgium, such as the city of Ghent, Febelfin and the VDAB.
