A Belgian platform at the service of the audiovisual industry

17/02/2022

Moonday is the name of the new online platform dedicated to film and audiovisual professionals.

Having noticed a the lack of digitisation within the film and audiovisual industry, and convinced that information and networking are nonetheless crucial to this sector, Belgians Olivier Bronckart (director, executive producer for the Dardennes brothers) and Christophe Deliens set up Moonday. The problem in the sector is that information is still disseminated on different media, and is not always updated, making searches painstaking for professionals. That is now a thing of the past with Moonday, the all-in-one collaborative social network. It offers all the information needed by professionals on a single platform: film projects, scripts, financial partners, castings, and much more.

How is the platform so versatile?

This is thanks to an established professional social network, data collected by the platform, a customer relationship management (CRM) system and finally, a little help from scientists and artificial intelligence.

Among the investors who have already placed their trust in this online platform are the FIFF Namur, the Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel, and screen.brussels. While these are Belgian names, the profile of the investors is highly international, the start-up having launched with the aim of conquering Europe.
