The Belgian entrepreneur Davy Kestens has raised twenty million dollars of capital in a new round of funding with his company Sparkcentral. Using these new investments the company not only plans to conquer the European market, but also tap into Asia.

Davy Kestens first set off to Silicon Valley in late 2011 to find investors for his new start-up TwitSpark. This brave choice has served the Limburger well. Meanwhile his business Sparkcentral has become an established player in the communication world. Uber, Netflix and T-Mobile are among those using the software tool to monitor their social media.

Its success has clearly not gone unnoticed by investors, because a new round of capital funding allowed Kestens to raise another twenty million dollars. With this he plans to continue gaining ground in the European market and move on to Asia. Sparkcentral's headquarters are based in San Francisco, but they also have a subsidiary at the Corda Campus in Hasselt.
