Belgians are excelling at the European Football Championship. Because beyond the potential sporting performances of the Red Devils, more than ten companies are standing out thanks to their knowledge, expertise and technological know-how.

Whether or not they shine on the pitch, the final result of this Euro 2020 is already proving to be a win-win situation for around ten Belgian companies involved in the smooth running of this footballing event that has the whole of Europe on tenterhooks.

In this range of opportunities being taken up by Belgians are companies that have long been associated with the biggest sporting events of the planet, such as Barco from Kortrijk, EVS from Liège and Videohouse from Vilvoorde. They are providing their expertise in terms of screens, lighting and sound management, so they can bring pleasure to both spectators and the television audience. For its part, NEP Belgium in Londerzeel uses a vast array of people and cameras to transmit matches live from many stadiums.

Many football associations and referees are already familiar with Tessenderlo's Expo-Line Vanishing Spray. It is used to clearly mark the exact position of the ball and the defenders when a free kick is awarded. The advantage of this marking is that it disappears after just a few minutes.

PitchTecConcept from Lede had the privilege of installing the new hybrid grass at Wembley stadium in London, which will host the semi-finals and final of the Euro. It is made of natural and artificial grass and combines the advantages of both materials. Lastly, Pitagone from Anderlecht is responsible for security in some stadiums.

Who could still doubt Belgium's significant sporting and high-tech potential?
