Few people really know it, but there are still many brands of toys made in Belgium.
Far from being exhaustive, here is a list of brands that should inspire Father Christmas in the near future:
The most prolific toy manufacturer in Belgium is undoubtedly Smart. Their creations are sold in shops all over the world, as are those of Kidywolf, whose brand was launched by young dads keen to fulfil the wishes of their own children.
Other Belgian brands also specialise in games for babies and toddlers:
Ardenne Toys and its quality wooden construction toys;
Egmont Toys with fabric and wooden toys for toddlers;
Quut and its beach and bath toys;
Trixie and its educational and durable wooden toys with a refined design;
Lilliputiens and its colourful characters and quality toys in fabric and wood;
Wild&Soft, with its high-quality costumes made from faux fur;
Hikari and the Meteors, with ultra-articulated little figurines made from recycled plastic;
Cleverclixx, with magnetic tiles.
For older children, Baldur's Gate 3 is the world's most popular video game.
