Glenn Martens, winner of the 2017 ANDAM Grand Prix for Y/Project

15/09/2017

For this 28th edition, ANDAM (National Association for the Development of the Fashion Arts) has, once again, spotted new fashion talent and presented the 2017 Grand Prix to a Belgian creator.

Currently, under the direction of Nathalie Dufour, the contest, created in 1989, comprises 25 jury members who, this year, had to choose between the 13 finalist creators. Thanks to his fashion project that combines luxury and street, Glenn Martens takes over from Wanda Nylon, the 2016 winner, and also obtains a grant that will allow him to develop his brand, present his collection at Paris Fashion Week and establish his business in France.

Our young national creator has headed the men and women's collection for Y/Project since 2013 and describes his creations as "versatile", unisex creations that adapt to each individual. An innovative concept that has earned him the greatest reward.

Next year promises to be full of surprises since, for an entire year, the prize winner will also receive advice from Francesca Bellettini, the current Director of Yves Saint Laurent.
